"The luck of the world is found on the backs horses"

Even those who haven’t even tried it yet will not find it hard to see the truth behind this sentence.

Just think of a wonderful ride through natural surroundings. This is precisely the experience our specialists on Millstatt Lake provide.

Nordic Walking

The cycle route around the lake is perfectly suited for this trend sport from Scandinavia. There are opportunities for Nordic walking on forest paths – on the south bank and on tarred roads – on the north bank.

If you do not have suitable equipment for Nordic walking, you can use LOWA hiking boots and LEKI Nordic walking sticks from our competency centre in Döbriach and Goldeck free of charge.

Climbing

climbingClimbing has become a real trend sport in the last few years. In Döbriach, climbing fans can go all out in the "Breitwand" climbing park.

Climbing wall in Döbriach From the town centre (main square) in Döbriach, you can reach the climbing wall in about 20 minutes on foot (Kirchgasse, Kirche, Römerstraße, legend hiking trail). This is a challenging climb for practiced climbers, (up to the 8th level of difficulty) and there are many different climbing routes. View from the climbing wall towards the town and Millstatt Lake. (Northern position)

Recommended equipment: Stable shoes, comfortable recreational clothing, protection from the weather, drinking bottle, a good mood and lust for climbing.
